we obtained the (voltage-time graph) from our oscilloscope using an XUV photodiode and a photodiode amplifier. We just want to make sure the peak voltage values(shown with a red line in the attached image) that we use for our energy measurements, correspond to the average optical power, not the peak power. I believe that these peak values correspond to the average optical power detected by the photodiode, but I also want to confirm this with another person who is more specifically into the photodiode’s working principle.
