We have a infrared system in which the IR source and the IR detector are fixed on one side and the Ø25 x 50mm FL, Protected Aluminum Concave Mirror is placed on another side.
The optical mirror is alignment is done in such a way that the maximum IR light falls on the IR detector. The assembly is fixed in the SS316 cell.
The mirror is potted with SS316 cell with ER2188 epoxy. But it is observed that after couple of weeks after potting, the optical alignment gets disturbed.
Kindly advise if ER2188 Epoxy from Electrolube is correct choice or any other options are available.
It is expected that once the system is aligned, it should not gets disturbed.
